WE ARE REOPENING!
At long last we are reopening the doors at Ballyhass and we’re extremely excited to get you back safely into the outdoors! A bit like the first lockdown last year we will be opening on a phased basis. This blog will go through in detail our reopening and what you need to know.
The important dates are:

Lets go through each of these dates and what each phase of our reopening means.
April 17th - On this date we will be opening our brand new outdoor cafe in Ballyhass Mallow which we are extremely excited to show you this year. A fully equipped kitchen that you will be able to get sandwiches, light snacks and your favourite coffees. With the 5km restriction lightening on 12th April, what perfect way to come down to Mallow, go on your walk around the site and grab a take away bite and relax on our garden benches in the outdoors.
April 26th - On this date School Tours will return and will run in both Mallow and Coachford. This will be able take place under the underage non-contact outdoor training and the sites being an educational facility. The spaces for these are filling fast so get in touch to book your school tour in and not miss out. You can contact us to book your school tour by email or phone.
Wakeboarding will also return to Ballyhass Mallow. As an individual and outdoor sports facility similar to golf or tennis, wakeboarding will be running at full capacity like the previous season on this date. This can be booked online on the Ballyhass Wake Park website and slots will be open in 7 days in advance.
The Explore Lee Valley Kayak Tours will return to Ballyhass Coachford. These will at weekends with set times at 10am and 2pm. These can be booked over the phone or by email. Our Family Tour is priced at €35pp (2 hours) and our ‘Beating Heart of Cork’ Expedition Tour is €50pp (3 hours). Up to two households can book on one tour.
April 28th - Open Water Swimming returns as an individual and outdoor sports facility similar to golf or tennis in Ballyhass Mallow. Open Water Swimming will be running Tue & Thu evenings & Sun mornings. This can be booked over the phone or by email.
May 1st - One Day Warriors Summer Camps will return and with a special 2 days on the May Bank Holiday weekend and every Saturday and Sunday after that. This camp will be similar to underage non contact outdoor training. This is our most popular kids product and promises Land, Water and Height. One Day warriors will return in both Ballyhass Mallow and Coachford. This can be booked online on the summer camp page of the website
Under the new Government regulations we will be taking Small Pre Booked Groups in Mallow and Caochford. Groups of 6 - 15 will be able to meet from a max of two households. This will run from 12 - 6pm and can be booked over the phone or by email. This is €40pp for 2 activities over 4 hours. You can book this for Saturday and Sundays from 26th April.
May 5th - On this date we will be releasing our Summer Adventure Programme with a full list of our product and programmes for the summer, this will be subject to government restrictions at the time. These will include Learn to Kayak and SUP courses plus axe throwing/wakeboarding events
Our Public Nets Course and Public Aqua Parks will open with reduced capacity similar to last year. Each session will be lead in pods by an instructor and sessions will last around 50 mins. This will also be subject to government restrictions at the time. We will open the online slots for these nearer to the time. At the moment they are closed.
