Frequently Asked Questions
We have compiled some of the questions that we get asked all the time so you have all the information in one easy to find location. If there is anything we have missed just give us a call on 022 27773 or drop us an email to email@example.com
I have never wakeboarded before what option should I book?
We would highly recommend you book our beginners lesson if its your first time wakeboarding or if its your first time wakeboarding on cable. This is because we schedule extra one on one instructional time to do a dry land lesson and to show you a wakebaording introductory video before you get out on the water for your session. The dry land lesson is really important and makes your first experience on the water super relaxed. You can book an Individual session but your dryland session will eat into your own time on the water.
Why are all the sessions broken into 15mins?
You may think this seems short but trust us it is alot of time on the water. Especially for your first time it would be very difficult to do anymore than 15mins. Even if you fall over, the operator will just reverse the handle back to you and you will start straight away again. There is very little waiting around time which you get a lot when your wakeboarding behind a boat. Usually on a beginners lesson you will never leave go of the handle.
There are 4 of us who want to book, whats our best option?
If you book an adult set online and let us know when you arrive that you are begginers. Make sure you arrive at least an hour in advance otherwise we wont have time to show you a video or do a dry land lesson. You can book online after you login. If you have more than 5 or more people please give us a call in the office on 022 27773 or email firstname.lastname@example.org and we will block time out on the line for you.
Can we combine wakeboarding with the adventure activities?
You sure can, but you're going to need a minimum of 10 people before you book in for the other activities. Check out our activity packages page for activity options.
Why can I only book online for the next seven days?
We have alot of groups in Ballyhass and we have to allow space for them to book in. But feel free to give us a call in the office and one of the booking team will be happy to book you in more than 7 days in advance. 022 27773.
What do I need to bring?
We can provide you with all the kit you need, we have wetsuits, buoyancy aids, helmets, wakeboards, bindings, and Mystic Battle jackets to keep you warm. You need to bring a pair of flipflops or shoes with you. This is so you can walk safely from the changing rooms to the start dock. We advise you bring your own towel and a pair of swim trunks to wear under your wetsuit.

I want to wakeboard regularly what option would you suggest?
If you have just started and have done a beginners lesson with us then you qualify for our obstacle standards course. This is your best value option to get over all those floating white obstacles out there. If you still want more, then check out our Rider packs which give you discounts for the more sessions you buy in advance. After that you could buy one of our Memberships. If you want to ride regulary each week this will be your best option with sessions going as low as €2 per session.
